We’re back! (cue I Am the Doctor). CC joins us once again as we delve into the career of star of stage and screen Danny Huston, whether Marc Maron would give us the time of day, and uh, I guess, Doctor Who? A new Doctor, a new showrunner, and a new-ish format (hey that’s almost an episode of Class) as the clock strikes that familiar tone – it’s The Eleventh Hour!
Recorded moments after the brand new (as of 22nd March 2024) trailer for Doctor Who landed, David and Michel break down their initial response to it and speculate briefly.
Grab your fish fingers and custard, doff your fez, and get ready to talk Danny Huston as Podtor Whocast returns for a triumphant fifth season! A brand new Doctor, brand new format, brand new theme and more — it all awaits you NEXT MONDAY as we delve into 2010 in ways no one has ever delved into it before!
Woof! We’re back in a SURPRISE drop! Join us as we certainly talk about K-9 episodes Liberation and the Korven, and about everything to do with those episodes and those episodes alone. And Ian Levine.
And so it came to pass that the Podtor Whocast hosts took their final places behind their microphones, making ready the podcast that was to come (one of them is quite ill in this episode, for what it’s worth). A big series/Doctor finale sat in its empire of Max and Blu-Ray cases, little knowing of the discussion it would generate. While its podcasters looked upon their notes in the hope of delving into how they felt about potions, grand farewells, and meta-narratives. Far away, the listeners and idle subscribers dreamt of a shining new future. A future now set to happen when Podtor Whocast returns in 2024. As Earth rolled onwards into night the people of that world did sleep. And shiver. And encounter a surprise celebrity Cameo. Somehow knowing the dawn would bring only one thing: The Podtor Whocast episode about The End of Time Parts 1 and 2. See you in early 2024 for K-9: Series 1 and Doctor Who: Series 5!
We’re walking awkwardly here! We delve right back into animated Doctor Who, the expanded Whoniverse at large, and one of us even forgets an entire episode of Podtor Whocast happened! All this and more – it’s Dreamland!
Listen to this episode? You know I really think you might. We rank every story in The Sarah Jane Adventures S3 and waffle about some stuff for a while, as well as give our thoughts on the season as a whole. Wrap up warm!
What are they Blathereen on about now?! We dive into an incredibly lacklustre ending to an incredibly lacklustre season of television, as far as things go. More or less just this and not much else, it’s The Gift!
A stick, a stone! We delve into the Doctor’s decision to say goodbye to all that when it comes to the laws of time, the ways in which this episode subverts Doctor Who (person), and of course, the multimedia event Time Lord Victorious, among many other things. It’s The Waters of Mars, and we even talk about literature – so get listening!
So we somehow accidentally recorded ourselves listening to a tape from 1963, so we said, free content! Join us as we listen to an interesting tape that was sent to us by a mysterious stranger, who is supporting us in our battle to prove Beep the Meep is real. You can hear us talk about the anniversary of the three days after JFK’s assassination, our Beep crusade, and some weird old radio show about some Doctor Who thing from the 60s, who even knows man, who even knows. They’re saying it’s about some friggin Unearthly Child? I don’t know!
