In this special bonus episode, Michel and Arthur answer some of YOUR questions! That’s right, we asked for questions from both our Twitter and our Tumblr and this is what we got. Tune in for birthday parties, spin-offs and allegories!
Escape From Mystery Manor
Do you want to play a game? Fred Jones certainly does! It’s our first foray into the world of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and boy is it a good one. The scooby gang take on a jigsaw-esque figure and attempt to escape a creepy old house with their lives and a piece of a mysterious treasure. Will they survive? Will this be the first entry into the Golden Scoob tier? Why did Dwayne Johnson know about the assassination of Osama Bin Laden? All of these questions will be explored on this episode of Heavy Meddle!
Doctor Who S1E12/13 – Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways
Peter returns (although this is technically his first episode) to discuss the Dalek-filled series one finale, as well as the ridiculousness of Big Finish, whether Julia Roberts has heard of Doctor Who, and various merchandise of yore.
S02E04 – “Sleepless”
In a monster of the week episode where Laura and I fly solo, we talk about “Sleepless” and cover a variety of topics like the legacy of the Vietnam War and its portrayal in media in the 90s, how we think the themes of this episode could’ve been explored better, and Mulder’s inability to work well with anyone other than Scully. Most importantly, we meet Mulder’s new source, X, and Alex Krycek (rat boy).
If you have any questions, feel free to email or DM us them for a potential mailbag episode. Tune in next time when we talk S02E05 and 6 “Duane Barry” and “Ascension” and follow us on Twitter @condensedtruth!
BONUS – Rewrite FMA OC Zine (with Remi and Becky)
In this special bonus episode, Michel and Arthur welcome Remi and Becky to talk about the fanzine Rewrite: a FMA OC Zine. We talk about what’s so fun about original characters, the making of the zine, and pitch a few brand new totally original do not steal OCs.
Doctor Who S1E11 – Boom Town
David and Michel talk about the return of Margaret Slitheen, in what is sure to be the shortest episode we ever record. Michel also notices a running theme throughout many of our episodes.
Sandy Duncan’s Jekyll and Hyde
Broadway fanboy Andy Germuga joins Ethan this week to discuss an Episode of the New Scooby-Doo Mysteries that, as a shock to both of them, features nary a single mention of Broadway. Listen as they explore whether or not the Scooby-Doo formula can withstand 40 minutes, the logistics of Hollywood backlots, and the Mystery gang’s complete ineptitude as detectives. Stick around to witness Ethan boff it bigtime and a resounding round of Scooby-Doo Episode or Broadway Play?

Doctor Who S1E9/10 – The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
David and Michel are joined by Kayleigh (@tropheyhusband) in a fairly freewheeling (and technical-issue plagued) episode to talk about Steven Moffat’s entry into canonical televised Doctor Who, as well as TARDIS Wiki nightmares, and whether any of the Baldwins have heard of Doctor Who.
